This book is an absolute must-read for everyone, especially those of you who have read Clare’s past works! Even if you haven’t, this is a great place to start! With the way Lady Midnight ends, how can we possibly wait until May 2017, when Lord of Shadows (book 2) is released, to see what happens next?! Watch for my favorite funny, heartwarming scenes when all the Blackthorns are together…movie night, the diner, and the kitchen mess. The intertwining of all the Shadowhunters series is one of my favorite parts of Clare’s books, not to mention the seemingly impossible situations the characters get themselves into and the twists and turns in the plot. We also catch glimpses of old favorites like Magnus, Jem, Tessa, Jace, and Clary.
