I do love this about him and I can’t fault him for making that kind of choice. If it came down to it, he’d chose James over Juliette in a heartbeat. More than anything, I wanted to root for their love and have a hard decision as to which team (Warner or Adam) I was going to cheer for in Ignite Me. Throughout this entire novella, Adam’s love for Juliette seems so fragile. His love is raw, unconditional, and never falters despite everything they’ve been through and Juliette’s rejections. I truly believe Warner is the better man for her. However, his feelings and views of Juliette left me utterly disappointed, a little sad and definitely heartbroken. He seemed perfect, protective, as if he’s the kind of guy that would sweep you off your feet and take you off into the sunset on his magical white horse. There’s no denying how much I adored Adam in the previous novels. While Shatter Me and Unravel Me made me swoon like a mad woman with its eloquent prose and earth shattering love story, Fracture Me left me feeling well … indifferent.
